It was the Wachowskis. I had absolutely no idea of what it was about. When it was clear that I had the part of Wolfgang, then I let myself think about what the show would be like. Of course I was concerned about it. But I had to overcome my fears and allow my mistakes to happen. The best lesson I got was that all the worries were just in my head and I just had to trust these guys.
Sense8's Max Riemelt talks season 2, full-frontal scenes, and kissing his male co-stars at Pride
Actor Max Riemelt on nudity, politics and acting in English - Metro Newspaper UK
If you're anything like me, the loss of Sense8 hit you hard. The main cast is 50 shades of stunning, serving you United Colors of Benneton beauty, and there's no shortage of nudity. Hanging dong, pansexual orgies and more booty than you can shake a stick at. In the spirit of intrepid journalism, or whatever , I'll be diving into said hotness — headfirst — with an episode by episode breakdown of Sense8 's most titil8ing moments.
Season one drew plaudits not only for it's glossy visuals and high-concept plot - which sees strangers from different parts of the world who suddenly become 'sensates'; human beings who are mentally and emotionally linked - but also for unaffected portrayal of characters of all races, sexual orientation and gender identity. We caught up with Berlin-based star to find out what's in store for fans in season two, whether he ever had any doubts about going full-frontal for the role, and why he's pretty much up for anything, as long as it feels right in the moment Is season 2 gonna be worth the wait for fans? I think so! I've been asked what's new and what to expect from it, and I always say it's more of everything.
You Be The Judge. It just happened! It was all like in a dream and it felt so good — the response of people was just so energizing and took us away. And of course people like to see us making out together and we thought it would just be a nice treat for them. It was in the moment.
